These straps are not your ordinary straps, they are built with 35mm webbing to meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 4380, and deliver the highest breaking strength at 1,500kg.

Rubber-Coated Ratchet & Hooks

The ratchet handles and S-Hooks feature a durable rubber coating for better grip, smoother tightening, and protection against scratching your bike or anchor points.

Soft Loop Straps + Safety Latch Hooks

Contains a set of 4x Soft Loop Straps, these can be used as an alternative to the S-Hooks. They can be wrapped around larger tie down points and also protect the surface from scratching.

The S-Hooks feature a safety gate for added security.

Carry Bag Included

Staying organised in a fully loaded truck can be tough, so it comes with a handy nylon storage bag to keep everything tidy and easy to find when you need it.

Selection & Use

  • Choose a lashing capacity (LC) appropriate to the mode of use and the nature of the load.
  • Pre-tension lashings and check them regularly during the journey.

Material

  • Strap is Polyester (PES) and not resistant to chemical attack.
  • Chemical effects may increase with temperature and can cause restraint failure.
  • If any chemical contact/contamination occurs, remove the web lashing from service and dispose of it.

Operating Temperatures

  • Suitable range: -40 °C to 100 °C (per standard).
  • Ranges may vary in chemical environments.
  • Temperature changes can affect webbing force—check tension after entering warm areas.

Protection & Limit of Twist

  • Protect against friction, abrasion, and edges with radius < 2× webbing thickness (use sleeves/corner protectors).
  • Do not use webbing restraints when knotted.

Storage & Maintenance

  • If saturated, dry in a shaded area before storing.
  • Lightly lubricate the ratchet mechanism as needed.
  • Store in a dry location when not in use.

Meanings relating to a webbing restraint system

  • Lashing Capacity (LC): Half of the minimum breaking strength in straight pull, expressed in kilograms (kg).
  • Fixed End Length (Lgf): The webbing end with the tensioning device; a fixed end length.
  • Adjustable End Length (Lgl): The length of webbing without the tensioning device; an adjustable end length.
  • Hook & Keeper / S Hook / Carabiner Hook: The end fittings used on the restraint system.

Monkey Grip Delivery Times

Easy and convenient, all you pay for shipping is a flat rate of $11.95 for your entire order. Occasionally we may contact you & ask you to pay extra freight if your location is remote (as advised by our courier services) & or if your item is oversize and/or heavy. Typically, Monkey Grip items listed on the website will be dispatched from our warehouse within 24 hours. If you place an order over the weekend, your order will more than likely be despatched on Monday (excluding the occasional public holiday).

Our warehouse team work hard to process all orders as quickly as possible; we will send you an email with tracking details to advise your item/s have been dispatched by us or alternatively if we anticipate any delays. We ship Australia wide, please allow approximately 3-7 business days for delivery depending on where you are located within Australia, in most cases you will receive much sooner. For NT and regional WA, QLD customers please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.

From time to time your delivery will exceed our usual stated delivery window for reasons outside our control. Eg:

  • Transport delays
  • Transport delays due to inclement weather
  • Crazy/ busy times such as Xmas
Yes, we deliver to PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers! Shipping times are based on the day of dispatch, not the purchase date. Unfortunately, we do not offer PICK UP from any of our fulfillment locations. We do not accept liability for any loss or theft of the products after delivery, so please ensure the delivery address provided offers a safe & secure place for your goods to be left, we know there are Porch Pirates out there.
Warranty
Monkey Grip offers a 365-day warranty on all our products, within 365 days from purchase date and will either credit, replace, or refund the faulty or defective product. The warranty covers all manufacturing faults and defects. It does not cover wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse, accident, or failure to follow instructions. Please note any modifications made to the product will void the warranty.
